The Sheffield CollegeAdeana Raper

Adeana Raper, who is Henry Boot Construction’s Employment & Skills Manager, has long been part of the HNC Presentation Panel of judges and therefore was able to witness four Henry Boot Construction Trainees as they delivered their HNC presentations on Monday 9 May 2016 at Sheffield College.

The HNC Construction course aims to provide individuals with a range of skills in many areas of construction, through a mixture of assignments and practical work.

The student’s presentations were based on their ideas of how to redevelop a plot of land, and focussed on the key issues that would impact upon this. These were then assessed by the panel made up of local employers and college lecturers.

“Well done to Codey Millward, Lydia McGuinness, Sam Wood and Joanna Batten, as well as the other students involved in these presentations.”

Adeana Raper, Employment & Skills Manager, Henry Boot Construction Limited

“I think these presentations are a good way for our students to gain skills which will hopefully help them in their work place.”

Gary Mallon, Lecturer & Employer Engagement Coordinator, Sheffield College
