St WilfridsChris Morgan visit to St Wilfrid's site

Last week Chris Morgan, the Assistant Manager of Chesterfield Football Club, visited the new St Wilfrid’s Centre residential housing site in Sheffield to see how the project was progressing.

Chris Morgan was Captain of Sheffield United from 2003 to 2015 and enjoyed many seasons playing at the top level of the English football league.

Henry Boot Construction are building the new St Wilfrid’s residential project which will create 20 self-contained flats with additional communal spaces. Located close to Sheffield city centre, the flats will be used by St Wilfrid’s Centre to house vulnerable people and those without a home, with the aim of improving their quality of life and helping them to find a permanent place to live.

The St Wilfrid’s project is expected to be completed in June 2016.

"The St Wilfrids Project is very close to Chris's heart but unfortunately having turned up late and arriving unprepared we had to issue him with a red card."
