2016 - March 2016

Weston Park Hospital, Ward 2 Refurbishment – 29/03/16

Weston Park Hospital
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals

Henry Boot Construction are delighted to have been successful in securing the Ward 2 refurbishment contract at Weston Park Hospital, working in partnership with the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The scheme will consist of a complete strip out and refurbishment of Ward 2 and examination areas and includes all new equipment, beds and furnishings.  The mechanical and electrical services and associated building works will be tailored to an entirely new layout.  The project will be delivered with minimal disruption and providing the highest standards of quality and customer service to the hospital.

Weston Park Hospital opened 45 years ago and is one of only four dedicated cancer hospitals in the country which provides chemotherapy and radiotherapy to thousands of patients from South Yorkshire and beyond.

Works are planned to commence during March 2016 with completion later in the year.

“We have an ongoing programme to invest in our facilities across all of our hospitals which enables us to continue providing the highest levels of care to our patients.  Weston Park Hospital is a leading cancer centre with an international reputation and these improvement works will ensure it is able to maintain the high standards of care it is recognised for in modern environments.”
