TeenTech 2016 – 24/03/16

Henry Boot Construction’s Employment and Skills Manager Adeana Raper took part in the TeenTech event at Doncaster Racecourse on 3 March 2016.

The event links schools and companies for a day which brings technology and engineering to life. It gives students the chance to relate to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) subjects and also the work place.

It is a unique opportunity to be able to spend a whole day with a group of students and to see them interact with all the various activities provided by sponsored companies.

This is the fourth year Henry Boot Construction has supported this event.

“This is the third year I have attended the event, as I think it gives the students a great chance to relate their learning in school to future work opportunities. They leave TeenTech very much inspired and hopefully understand the necessary STEM subjects.”
