Two groups of students from Elmete School, Leeds visited our Extra Care Housing project in Yeadon on 8 March 2016.  The students were taken on a tour of the site by Gareth Wagstaffe, Project Manager and then later attended a workshop facilitated by Adrian Kirby, Site Manager and Adeana Raper, Employment and Skills Manager.

The students enjoyed their visit which enabled them to experience a fully working operational site and see first-hand the various job roles, skills and different trades required to run a construction site.

“We were very pleased to welcome the students and staff of Elmete School.  Elmete is a well-established specialist school providing inclusive education in Leeds.  The students were able to see the project and discuss job roles in a very informal manner, giving them an insight into the construction industry.”
