Henry Boot Construction complete Sheffield Hallam University Materials and Engineering Research Institute Relocation – 28/05/15


Henry Boot Construction have completed works to Phase 2 and 3 of the Materials and Engineering Research Institute (MERI) Relocation for Sheffield Hallam University.

The MERI is a dynamic interdisciplinary research institute dedicated to finding solutions to challenges in the industry through the application of fundamental science and engineering.

Phase 2 included the refurbishment of floors 5 and 6 of the Norfolk building, providing a purpose designed Maths HUB, staff offices, teaching spaces and open access IT and collaboration areas.

Phase 3 included refurbishment of the second floor of the Harmer building which includes further offices, IT suites, informal teaching and learning spaces and a new reception area for the department.
