Henry Boot Construction sign up to the Built Environment Commitment – 20/03/15

Further to Henry Boot Construction previously committing to the ‘Halving Waste to Landfill’ initiative, developed by WRAP, we have now signed up to ‘Built Environment Commitment’, which is an initiative to deliver a resource efficient, low carbon built environment. The initiative developed by WRAP on behalf of the Green Construction Board (GCB), supports the Governments Construction Strategy 2025.

The Built Environment Commitment, which focuses on Resource Efficiency, brings together industry action and publicly demonstrates the commitments of signed up organisations. Further to signing up to the initiative, Henry Boot Construction appears on the ‘Wall of Fame’, as one of the first contractors to sign up to this initiative.

“We are delighted to be taking part in the industry-wide initiative and to be contributing with others towards the goal of halving greenhouse gas emissions by 2025.”
