Project Manager Darren Green climbs England’s highest peak – 17/06/15

Scafell Pike
Scafell Pike

In May, Project Manager Darren Green ascended England’s highest peak – Scafell Pike, Cumbria, to raise much needed funds for Swinton Spartans Junior Football Club and Milton School, Swinton. Located in the Lake District National Park, Scafell Pike stands at 978m above sea level and is known as being the hardest climb of Britain’s three highest peaks.

All money raised will be divided between Swinton Spartan Junior F.C to provide new kits, equipment and acquiring the trusteeship of a local sports field for regular training and Milton School for new PE equipment.

“The generosity of employees of Henry Boot Construction and their sub-contractors has so far helped to raise over £4000.00
A big thank you to all of you that made a donation.”
