Henry Boot launch ECO Cabins on Extra Care Housing scheme in Yeadon – 07/08/15

Yeadon Cabins

Henry Boot Construction have launched energy saving ECO Cabins on our most recent contract for Leeds City Council. The flagship Extra Care housing scheme in Yeadon featuring the new cabins will ensure the site’s carbon footprint is kept to a minimum, whilst reducing greenhouse gas emissions and providing increased comfort for our employees and visitors.

The new cabins incorporate a multitude of energy saving devices, including enhanced insulation, passive infra red (PIR) LED lighting, double glazed windows, non-concussive taps, waterless urinals and thermostatically timed heaters

The Extra Care housing scheme has been awarded through the current YORbuild Framework, and forms part of the council’s ambitions plans to provide accommodation to suit people’s needs for now and the future.

“We have been working with Banner Accommodation for a number of years now to develop and launch our very first fleet of market leading energy saving cabins. This also coincides with the launch of our new branding and colour scheme, which adds a modern twist to the long standing name of Henry Boot and we are very pleased with the end result. ”
