Infrastructure works commence on Thorne Park, Doncaster – 27/06/14

Henry Boot Construction recently commenced the road and infrastructure works at Thorne Park, located at Junction 6 of the M18.

The infrastructure works are being carried out on behalf of Henry Boot Developments Limited who, along with its joint venture partner, secured a £6.45 million grant from the European Regional Development fund to start construction on the site.

Thorne Park, located on a 20-acre site, will offer a mixture of commercial and industrial space totaling over 210,000 sq.ft.  The road and infrastructure works include the provision of all new main incoming services and drainage and off site highways work.

Infrastructure work started on 31st March 2014 and is due to be complete second half of August 2014.

Vivienne Clements, director of Henry Boot Developments Limited, commented: “These works are a major step forward in the evolution of Thorne Park into a major new business park which will be capable of delivering a significant number of new employment opportunities in to the area.”
