Henry Boot sponsor Hull Colleges’ ‘Most Outstanding Apprentice’ Award – 27/06/14

Henry Boot Constructions’ Eastern Division has sponsored the Most Outstanding Apprentice on a Brickwork Level 2 Course on behalf of Hull College’s School of Construction and Green Energy Skills. The Awards Ceremony was held on the 23rd June 2014 at the Mercure Hull Royal Hotel with Josh Hunter being awarded Most Outstanding Apprentice on the night.

The Brickwork Level 2 Course is taught through practical sessions, job knowledge sessions and IT classes covering Health and Safety, construction of solid walls, cavity walls as well as joint masonry and masonry cladding.

Hull College is the largest provider of construction studies in the region, with the School of Construction and Green Energy Skills offering a wide range of skills from Carpentry, Joinery, Bricklaying and Plastering with a further range of technical and professional studies up to HE level. The school also holds two National training awards and two Beacon awards.
