Moorfoot refurbishment complete – 03/01/14

Our latest project for Sheffield City Council, the refurbishment of its iconic Moorfoot Building in the city centre, is now complete.

The site team, led by Jack Duncan, started work on the project in January and handed over the building on 20thDecember. Their focus was to deliver vital services upgrades and refurbishment of most of the building’s 11 floors to provide much needed office space for Sheffield City Council employees.

Specific work included redecoration, new floor finishes, remodelling works to provide meeting rooms, breakout spaces and kitchens, upgrade of power and lighting, provision of archive space, a new public entrance on level 1 and roof repairs.

“Since it opened in 1981, the Moorfoot Building has played a key role in housing numerous government and city council departments. Jack and his team have done an excellent job over the last few months and have given the building a new lease of life to enable it to continue to service Sheffield City Council for years to come.”
