This December Henry Boot Construction’s Chesterfield College Site Team have organised a hamper appeal on behalf of charity Help the Aged and a Senior Citizen Christmas Lunch in Chesterfield.

Our Site Team and Sub-contractors have all kindly been donating items to support the charity who are providing hampers to the most vulnerable elderly in the Chesterfield area this Christmas. The team also supported Centrepoint, a day care facility for the elderly at the Chesterfield Central Methodist Church, Saltergate. A three course meal was donated by Henry Boot Construction for sixty senior citizens with raffle prizes afterwards including hampers and boxes of chocolates.

A special thanks to all the companies that have contributed including, Travis Perkins, Anglo Power, Hays Recruiting, Linden Signs, Carter, Banner Plant, Frame Deck Ltd, Woodhouse Plastering, Insight and ACO Construction.

“We would once again like to say a big thank you to you all as without your support, much of this would not have been possible.”

Dean Briggs, Site Manager, Henry Boot Construction

“May I on behalf of Centrepoint say a very big thank you to all of those involved in making our Christmas celebration so special. I am sure the hampers you presented will be spoken of for a long time they were superb, and the chocolates will be much enjoyed too. Also the monetary donation for the meal was wonderful indeed works cannot express our gratefulness.”

Ann Galloway, Co-ordinator, Centrepoint
