Construction Ambassadors support Meadowhead School Sheffield – 30/04/14
Henry Boot Construction’s Construction Ambassadors Adeana Raper (Training Advisor) and Karen Fisher (Customer Relations Manager) recently visited Meadowhead School in Sheffield to help students with their CV writing and interview skills.
The two day visit was in support of Henry Boots’ link with Meadowhead School through the Community Learning Trust, which includes other local colleges, schools and businesses. The Trust was established in 2009 to work towards strengthening the community and developing projects that promote improved literacy and numeracy skills in learners, developing work related learning opportunities, and routes into employment through the Trust’s business partners.
"Two very fulfilling and enjoyable days, meeting young people from diverse backgrounds, giving tips on letter writing, producing a CV and concluding with a formal interview. Students also gained an insight into what an employer would expect from a young person. We have close links with Meadowhead School being part of their Community Learning Trust and look forward to continuing this relationship."
