Henry Boot Construction’s Eastern Division has just secured a further two years of social housing refurbishment works for St Leger Homes of Doncaster.

Our site teams delivered upgrades to over 5600 properties in Doncaster over the last six years, undertaking around £71m of investment work on St Leger’s previous framework contract.

Improvement programmes were delivered throughout the Metropolitan Borough, including schemes in Edlington, Intake, Askern, Woodlands, Moorends, Thorne, Stainforth and Scawsby, and many more.

The 2013-2015 project was secured under the YORBuild framework and our provisional allocation will see residents in almost 3800 properties benefitting from the improvement works.

As part of our sustainability policy, HBC has a commitment to working at the heart of the community – this commitment and the hard work of our site teams has resulted in six nominations at the national Considerate Constructors Awards, to be presented in April 2013.

Two of the nominated projects were for our work with St Leger Homes of Doncaster; The Energy Efficiency Works at Stainforth, Moorends, Dunscroft and Hatfield, and the Stainforth Heating Upgrade Scheme sites were both praised for their commitment to the principles of the CCS scheme, of which we are an Associate Member.

“We are pleased to announce our latest success with St Leger Homes of Doncaster, a company we have worked alongside over the last six years to improve social housing for local residents.
“Such a strong and lasting relationship is testament to the dedication and hard work of all of our site teams in ensuring the delivery of a high quality product for our valued repeat business client.”
