CCS ‘Performance Beyond Compliance’ at A&E – 24/01/13

Performance Beyond Compliance

New Units at NGH

Henry Boot Construction’s A&E Refurbishment Project at Northern General Hospital has just received a ‘Performance Beyond Compliance’ certificate from the Considerate Constructor’s Scheme.

The award of the certificate followed a successful second visit by the Scheme’s monitor, who awarded a score of 40 out of 50 under the new 2013 scoring system.

This meant that the monitor found the project to be ‘Excellent’ in all assessment areas, and that Henry Boot Construction was positively contributing to the image of the construction industry through maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming site environment for workers, visitors and the public.

The A&E refurbishment project includes demolition and remodelling works to a number of areas in the heart of the emergency department at Northern General, all undertaken whilst the department is in operation.

Henry Boot Construction is an Associate Member of the Considerate Constructor’s Scheme, and all of our sites over 6-week duration are registered under the Scheme.

“Well done to the site team at Northern General for another excellent CCS score. Close working with the Trust and all associated departments has meant that the impact of this potentially disruptive project has been minimised and all works are progressing well.”
