Henry Boot appoints CITB Construction Ambassadors – 15/04/13
Henry Boot Construction has appointed a team of CITB Construction Skills ambassadors to promote careers in the industry to school and college students.
As part of our commitment to promoting skills and development, the ambassadors will support CITB-Construction Skills events, giving talks, interacting with students and giving presentations at community events in areas where we are currently delivering projects.
Through sharing their experience with the students and undertaking question and answer sessions, they will break down some of the myths surrounding construction careers and give them a real insight into life in the industry.
The first team of ambassadors include: Rachel White (Group HR Manager), Adeana Raper (Group Training Manager), Karen Fisher (Customer Relations Manager), Louisa Sleight (Tenant Liaison Officer), Carol Hill-Firth (Customer Care Coordinator), Jonathan Watkins (Assistant Site Manager), Ryan Spencer (Assistant Site Manager), Chris Connor (Assistant Site Manager) and Derek McDonald (Site Manager).
“We are really pleased to support this scheme and keen to do anything we can to encourage young people into our industry.
This team of ambassadors has a wealth of experience in the industry, both on site and behind the scenes, and their input to any learning experience will be invaluable for the students.”
