Additional PV scheme for North Lincolnshire Homes – 25/09/12

North Lincs PV Panels

Henry Boot Construction’s Renewables Division has just secured a further project for North Lincolnshire Homes, delivering 163 photovoltaic panel installations to properties in the Scunthorpe area.

The project follows a successful scheme earlier this year, in which 114 of our client’s properties in the same region were fitted with solar panels, to help reduce energy bills for residents and the impact of the housing stock on the wider environment.

Residents are predicted to save over £100 per annum from the scheme, which was delivered over an impressive 3-week contract period.

Our Eastern Divison is also working closely with North Lincolnshire Homes, delivering communal area improvements, non-traditional housing upgrades and social housing refurbishment works throughout the Scunthorpe area.

Works on this project are due for completion by the end of October 2012.

“A warm, dry home is a basic necessity and the installation of solar panels is just the latest in a raft of measures we are taking to address the issues of home energy efficiency now and in the future.”

Neil Webster, head of regeneration at North Lincolnshire Homes
