Sustainable Housing Awards nomination – 11/10/12

Bore-Hole Drilling

A Ground Source Heat Pump installation recently completed by our Renewables Division has been nominated for a prestigious ‘Sustainable Housing’ award.

Seventeen properties managed by Yorkshire Housing Ltd had the heat pumps installed as part of the project, which is already delivering energy savings for the residents and carbon-footprint reductions for our client.

The Sherburn and Ganton scheme is nominated in the ‘Sustainable smaller housing retrofit project of the year’ category and the winners will be announced during a ceremony in London later this month.

“We are happy  that one of our renewables projects has been recognised through nomination at the Sustainable Housing Awards and look forward to hearing the results. This was a pilot scheme for Yorkshire Housing, which we are happy to say has been extended, with works continuing throughout October.”
