Charity Sky Dive

A 120mph freefall helped HBC’s Stephen Bayston raise over £850 for local charity ‘Cash for Kids’ this month.

Assistant Site Manager Stephen, who is currently working on our St Leger Homes of Doncaster project, took part in the daring sky dive in Lincolnshire to raise vital funds for the charity.

Cash for Kids raises money for sick, disabled and underprivileged children in the Sheffield region – and was formerly known as Help a Hallam Child.

They organise an annual toy appeal, which ensures around 12,000 sick and underprivileged children get a Christmas present who may have missed out otherwise, as well as awarding grants to other local charities throughout South Yorkshire..

Anyone still wishing to make a donation can visit Stephen’s page at http://www.justgiving.com/stephenbayston-skydive.

“It was a great event for a great charity – I am now an official member of the skydiving club after freefalling at 120mph for over one minute – an experience I thoroughly enjoyed!”
