University of Sheffield Medical School project complete – 27/11/12

Henry Boot Construction has just completed the refurbishment and remodelling of two floors of the University of Sheffield Medical School, creating a state of the art teaching facility on the Royal Hallamshire Hospital campus for the new academic year.

The 24-week design and build project included a new entrance and social hub, café area, enhancements to the library and new office and teaching spaces on floors B and C.

The existing building was stripped out and remodelled prior to the new installation, all in the middle of the busy University and Royal Hallamshire Hospital site in Sheffield city centre.

The project was handed over on time and to budget, to the great satisfaction of the client.

“Despite the challenges of working in this busy live environment our team delivered another top class project on the Royal Hallamshire Hospital campus. The client is highly delighted and the students are enjoying their new improved facilities.”
