University of Sheffield Medical School project awarded – 21/05/12

Medical School

Henry Boot Construction has just started the renovation of two floors of the University of Sheffield Medical School, creating a state of the art teaching facility on the Royal Hallamshire Hospital campus.

The 23-week design and build project involves the construction of a new entrance and social hub, enhancements to the library and new office and teaching spaces on floors B and C.

The existing building will be stripped out and remodelled prior to the new installation, all in the middle of the busy university and hospital site in Sheffield city centre.

We are currently working on two other projects at the Hallamshire Hospital - the new Critical Care Unit and the Ward Q2 refurbishment, which will provide an additional Stroke Ward on the highest medical floor of the iconic main building.

“We look forward to working with our valued repeat client Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and the University of Sheffield together to deliver this exciting new project for our future healthcare professionals.”
