Performance Beyond Compliance for Critical Care Unit Scheme – 31/05/12
Henry Boot Construction’s Critical Care Unit team has just been awarded a ‘Performance Beyond Compliance’ certificate from the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
The Royal Hallamshire Hospital project involved the creation of a new state of the art facility on the 11thfloor of the iconic main building, with associated plant rooms on the floor below.
Working closely with their neighbours in the hospital and from the University of Sheffield Medical School, the team delivered the 41-week project without complaint from building users, and established excellent working relationships with the wards above and below that were affected by the works.
The Performance Beyond Compliance certificate was awarded following two above average scores from the CCS assessor, who complimented the team on their efforts, despite the restricted nature of the site.
“Our Considerate Constructors Scheme scores are excellent this year, and we are proud to be an Associate Member of the scheme, making sure we are a good neighbour is a key priority on all of our projects and the award of this certificate helps to highlight that.”
