Sheffield University Medical School project awarded – 30/03/12

Royal Hallamshire Hospital

Henry Boot Construction has been awarded a project to renovate two floors of the Sheffield University Medical School, to create a state of the art teaching facility on the Royal Hallamshire Hospital campus.

The 23-week design and build project involves the construction of a new entrance and social hub, enhancements to the library and new office and teaching spaces on floors B and C, which will be open for the new teaching year this September.

The existing building will be stripped out and remodelled prior to the new installation, all in the middle of the busy university and hospital site in Sheffield city centre.

We are currently working on two other projects at the Hallamshire; the new Critical Care Unit on Floors J&K and the Ward Q2 refurbishment, which will provide an additional Stroke Ward on the highest medical floor of the iconic main building.

“We are pleased to announce we have secured a key project with Sheffield University and will be maintaining our presence on the Royal Hallamshire Hospital site - we look forward to delivering another top quality project, on time, to budget and with the highest standards of customer care.”
