Aspergers charity raffle success – 25/01/12

ACCT Raffle

Henry Boot Construction staff and employees have helped to raise over £2500 for a local charity in Sheffield.

Chief Surveyor Dave Woodhouse sold tickets for the annual Aspergers Children and Carers Together raffle, with a first prize of an iPad 2 and many more interesting goodies up for grabs.

The winners were drawn by the Rt Hon Richard Caborn, ex-MP and Sports Minister, at the St Mary’s Community Centre in Sheffield.

Sadly first prize did not go to an HBC employee, but the charity thanked everyone for digging deep and offering their support to this valued resource for children and their families affected by Aspergers syndrome.

“Thanks to everyone for buying the raffle tickets – the money raised will be spent on day trips for the children and their carers plus IT and play equipment.”
