Sixth ward refurbishment project from Sheffield Teaching Hospitals framework – 22/02/12

Royal Hallamshire Hospital

Henry Boot Construction’s Eastern Division has just won their sixth ward refurbishment project in a row for the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Ward Q2 Project will see one wing of the iconic main building at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital transformed into a fully refurbished Stroke Ward, adding to the existing treatment provision on the 17thfloor and providing additional single-sex accommodation in line with current healthcare guidelines.

HBC is also delivering the new state of the art Critical Care Unit on K Floor, which is due for completion at the end of May – following on from the successful delivery of four ward refurbishment programmes for the Trust last year.

Works will begin on Q2 this March with a forecast completion of mid-August 2012.

“We are pleased to announce we have secured another contract under the STHT framework agreement and look forward to the successful delivery of this project to the Trust’s complete satisfaction.”
