Tropo achieves NICEIC Approved Contractor Status – 07/12/12

Henry Boot Construction’s Renewables Division, Tropo, has been awarded approved contractor status by the NICEIC governing body.

Responsible for assessing the technical competence of UK contractors for over 50 years, the NICEIC aims to protect anyone who uses electricity from unsafe electrical installations in their homes, places of work and leisure.

To achieve this, they maintain a register of Electrical Contractors, which they assess and monitor to ensure each contractor complies with the various standards, codes of practice and scheme rules.

The NICEIC accreditation is an indication to clients that a business is reputable, reliable and works to the industry standards. It also offers assurance to clients that electrical installation work is covered by the NICEIC’s Complaints Procedure and Guarantee of Standards Scheme.

“Achieving NICEIC approved contractor status underlines our commitment to delivering quality in every aspect of our business. We are now able to undertake all aspects electrical works ranging from design of an installation all the way through to inspection, testing and commissioning of domestic, commercial and industrial projects.”
