£4.8m Rawmarsh Joint Service Centre – 20/12/10

Henry Boot Construction has just been awarded a £4.8m contract to build a new Joint Service Centre in Rawmarsh, as part of the Rotherham Construction Partnership Framework.

The project is jointly funded by RMBC and Rotherham Primary Care NHS Trust and consists of two linked buildings providing a range of services to the local community on Barber’s Avenue, Rawmarsh.

The PCT building features a doctor’s surgery, treatment facilities, consulting rooms and a pharmacy.

The RMBC building includes a customer service centre, library, sports changing facilities for the adjacent playing fields and a cafe.

Works begin on January 31st 2011, with a contract period of 52 weeks.
