    Transforming a former car storage site into a thriving business park

A project to complete road and infrastructure works at Thorne Park under a £6.45m grant from the European Regional Development Fund, transforming a huge 20-acre commercial and industrial space adjacent to the M18 into a thriving new business park.

Completed for Henry Boot Developments Limited, Thorne Park offers a mixture of commercial and industrial space totalling over 210,000 sq. ft. The scheme included the demolition and removal of existing structures along with general site clearance, in addition to enabling works. The JCT design and build contract was completed on time and to budget. Following completion, Henry Boot Construction were awarded further projects to create a number of speculative warehousing and industrial units on the site.

These works are a major step forward in the evolution of Thorne Park into a major new business park which will be capable of delivering a significant number of new employment opportunities to the area.
