A flagship project to create a new four storey building for St Wilfrid's Centre in Sheffield, providing 20 residential apartments for the Diocese of Hallam, including additional communal and external areas.
The apartments will be used by St Wilfrid's to house vulnerable people and those without a home, improving their quality of life and helping them find permanent accommodation. The project was a finalist in the Community Benefit category at the LABC Awards.
I would like to thank Adam, Tom, Laurence, Gary and everyone on site for such a magnificent job. They were all stars in making our dream come true and a pleasure to work with. Henry Boot will always be part of home at St Wilfrid’s, which I am sure will become a flagship project for Sheffield. Cannot speak too highly of Adam and the team.

Helping the community
Wherever possible, we used local firms with connections to St Wilfrid's to carry out the work. Energy efficient electrical goods and suitable thermal and acoustic materials were also used throughout to reduce usage costs for the client.
To support St Wilfrid's, our site team organised several fundraising events, including a Three Yorkshire Peaks Challenge, donating to local food banks and attending the BeVox fundraising evening.
