This beautiful new spa recaptures Harrogate's historic heritage by using natural spring water to create a peaceful, serene space to relax and unwind. The multi-level extension to the Grade I listed Rudding Park hotel has the most comprehensive facilities in the country.
A complex project, close collaboration was maintained with key trades and partners throughout the project. Careful management ensured there was no impact to the daily running of the prestigious four-star hotel and with a tight deadline, the project was delivered on time and to an exceptional standard. The spa has already received several awards, including a Good Spa Guide award for Best New Spa in the UK, Project of the Year at the NFB Awards and 'Highly Commended' at the prestigious RICS Awards.
Henry Boot Construction are one of the best contractors we have worked with in the last twenty years. Their whole team were organised and approachable. Working in a live environment presents challenges, however they were incredibly efficient and most importantly, the standard of work was exceptional. I would recommend them unreservedly.

Creating exceptional facilities
- Roof Top Spa and Garden, the first of its kind in the UK
- Exceptional 17m indoor swimming pool
- Extensive range of hydrotherapy and thermotherapy experiences
- Eleven treatment rooms with four mind and sense zones
- A 3AA Rosette Horto restaurant
- Dedicated shop
The ethos of Henry Boot is a ‘can do’ attitude at all levels of site management. The culture within the site cabins and monthly meetings was, without question, the most pleasant I’ve ever experienced. The whole experience was an absolute joy and the resulting project is one that we should all be very proud of.
