    A 33,000 sq. ft. design and build package for Ready Egg Products Ltd

Situated on the Markham Vale industrial site, the food processing and production facility provides Ready Egg with food-safe rooms with Kingspan insulated panels, office space and canteen, alongside a service yard, car park and cycle store.

The tender design was taken from RIBA Stage E and in-house resources were provided by the design and build coordinator and the structural engineer, in conjunction with our project management team. The design consultants were novated and our site team maintained existing strong relationships with the architect and engineering consultancy. BIM modelling, 3D simulations of key pinch points and clash detection software were used to enhance design team meeting discussions.

Our new facility allows us to provide an even better service to existing and new customers in the UK mainland where the majority of our customers are based. In delivering our new facility, on time, Henry Boot Construction’s management team have conducted themselves in a professional manner throughout. Their efforts have resulted in a first-class production facility, which we are all very proud of.

The project included the construction and installation of a concrete ground slab, stainless steel kerbs, internal drainage and food-safe resin flooring.

Building Information Modelling, 3D simulations of key pinch points and clash detection software were used throughout the project to enhance design team meeting discussions, particularly in relation to process equipment and associated building works.
