Three projects shortlisted for RICS Awards

This year, we are pleased to announce three projects have been shortlisted for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Awards. In the Yorkshire region, we have been shortlisted for three projects, in addition to one project in the East Midlands region.

The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure.

The projects shortlisted are:

  • Tourism & Leisure (Yorkshire): Rudding Park Spa, Harrogate
  • Regeneration (Yorkshire): Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park
  • Community Benefit (Yorkshire): Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park
  • Community Benefit (East Midlands): Newark and Sherwood Extra Care

The category winners for the East Midlands region will be announced on Thursday 3 May in a ceremony at Nottingham Belfry, with the Yorkshire winners being announced on Friday 11 May at Centenary Pavilion, Leeds United Football Club.

To mark the 150th anniversary of RICS, their chosen charity for 2018 is LandAid with a campaign called Pledge150. The campaign aims to raise £2.25 million to fund 150 beds by December 2018 for young people who are less fortunate.
