Success at G4C Yorkshire & Humber Awards 2021

We have been celebrating success at the annual G4C Yorkshire & Humber Awards held on Friday in Leeds, where we had three trainees nominated in various categories for their work in the past year.

The awards are held every year to celebrate the great work of young individuals in various roles across the construction industry. Jack Robinson who works as a Trainee Engineer on our Withernsea Primary School project was nominated in the Higher Education Student of the Year.

Working on our Kangaroo Works project in Sheffield, Trainee Technician Ben Tonkinson received a Highly Commended certificate in the Further Education Student of the Year category.

Trainee Business & Marketing Assistant Bradley Longford scooped the Future Leader award after making the final in this category in 2020. This was Bradley’s second award win within a week after winning the Higher or Degree Apprentice of the Year at the Sheffield City Region Apprenticeship Awards.

Bradley said: “Congratulations to all the winners, and my colleagues Ben and Jack for their success at the awards. I am still shocked and thrilled to be recognised at such a prestigious ceremony for young people in the field. I am excited to see what the future holds for me in the industry.”
