Last week, we attended school and colleges in South Yorkshire to promote apprenticeships to students.

Trainee Business and Marketing Assistant Bradley Longford visited Year 13 parents and students at New College in Doncaster and Year 7 students at Forge Valley School in Sheffield, to speak about apprenticeships.

At the events, Bradley spoke about his own experiences as an apprentice and the benefits of apprenticeships over full-time education with the aim of inspiring students to consider all career avenues. A Q&A was held to help parents and students further their understanding of how to apply.

“The evening was a great success and the information cascaded to parents was extremely beneficial to all interested in their son/daughter who are considering an Apprenticeship. Having Bradley at the event allowed the students to hear first-hand experiences and how an apprenticeship has worked for Bradley.”
