Henry Boot Construction is very much a part of Barnsley and we have a real affiliation with the town, with many of our people living and working there.

As part of our aim to give back to the local community, we supported the annual Proud of Barnsley Awards for the third consecutive year, an event which celebrates the incredible achievements of a whole range of people in the community.

Once again, we sponsored the Charity Fundraising Team category which was won by Sarah's Goal. The charity was launched in memory of Sarah Hanson Powell who died of breast cancer, and helps children and teenagers play football by providing kit and subs.

We love being part of such a special event that honours the achievements of those in our great community. Congratulations to all the well-deserved winners.
