Securing a place on fourth generation of ProCure23 framework

We have recently been appointed as a supplier on Crown Commercial Services (CCS) ProCure23 (P23) framework agreement as part of the wider CWAS2 Framework, for the design and construction of NHS capital projects.

In 2020/21, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn.

With an expected cumulative spend of £9bn during its lifespan, the framework enables NHS clients to quickly access experienced and proficient partners to support excellence in all aspects of NHS capital project delivery.

We are named on Lot 1.1 for Yorkshire and Humberside and Lot 3.1 East and West Midlands with both featuring works up to the value of £20m.

It is fantastic news that we have been awarded an enviable position on the ProCure23 framework agreement. We are excited to bring our collaborative delivery model to healthcare projects, exposing value and driving continuous improvement.

It will allow us to promote our serious commitment to social value with equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart. Net zero carbon and sustainability will be supported by our expert local supply chains as we look to unlock innovative solutions.

Craig Finn, Director

The P23 framework builds on the successes of three previous iterations of the ProCure framework that have delivered over £10 billion of projects for the NHS. It complies with the UK Government’s Outsourcing and Construction Playbooks. It will also provide more flexibility for contractors and bring the latest best practice in construction methods, modern methods of construction and digital infrastructure to the NHS. It has a focus on delivering greener facilities, reducing carbon emissions throughout the process and promoting social value.

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

In 2020/21, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

The new commercial agreement recognises the importance of public sector construction as a key driver of economic recovery, providing health bodies in England with a new route to market for construction works and associated services, and helping the UK to build back better. It adopts the principles of the Construction Playbook, rationalising frameworks in an innovative and collaborative approach between CCS, NHS England and NHS Improvement.

NHS England and NHS Improvement leads the NHS in England, sets its strategic direction through the NHS Long Term Plan, and funds key priorities for improvement. P23 is the fourth generation of the ProCure route to market for the provision of design and construction services to NHS capital projects, with an estimated cumulative value of £9bn over its four-year lifespan.
