Project Manager nominated for prestigious Construction Manager of the Year Award

Andy has been nominated in the Further Education category at the awards

Andy Greaves has been nominated in the Further Education category at the renowned CIOB Construction Manager of the Year Awards, for his management of the Royce Discovery Centre project in Sheffield.

The project which was completed in 2020 for the University of Sheffield is home to a state-of-the-art materials science research laboratory. Andy has progressed from Trainee Technician through to Project Manager in the last 17 years and currently manages our Withernsea Primary School project in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The awards which have been running for over 40 years finds the best examples of excellence and professionalism in the construction industry across eleven categories. Each category has a silver and gold medallist but only one of these gold medallists goes on to be crowned Construction Manager of the Year at the ceremony hosted at JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday 29th September.

It is an honour to make the Construction Manager of the Year Awards final in the Further Education category. The Royce Discovery Centre is a project that I’m incredibly proud to have managed and this nomination is testament to the product and service we delivered.
