Named on two YORbuild3 Medium Works frameworks

The new frameworks follows the success of the current YORbuild2 frameworks in delivering public sector projects across the Yorkshire and Humber region

We have just secured a place on two frameworks, one covering the YORhub east region led by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the other covering the west region led by Leeds City Council.

Both frameworks are made up of two lots, and we have been named on lot 1 in both regions which covers new build and refurbishments work valued between £4m and £10m.

It is great to be appointed to the frameworks and we are looking forward to securing and delivering our first project. Our collaborative approach will support YORbuild3 aims with project certainty; a real focus on opportunities for SMEs, investment in local communities and stretching employment & skills targets to deliver improved value to framework clients.

Ian Gresser, Head of Operations

The frameworks are aligned with the Construction Playbook, of which YORhub is a steering group member, published by the UK Government in December to deliver best practice outcomes. To build upon YORhub’s social value outputs, the frameworks will place greater emphasis on MMC, carbon reduction and an enhanced sustainability offer.

The introduction of the new frameworks follows the success of the current YORbuild2 frameworks in delivering public sector projects across the Yorkshire and Humber region and neighbouring areas. Since YORbuild was first launched in 2009, YORhub has delivered over 1500 building projects worth £2.5 billion for more than 90 public sector clients.
