Housing development in Chesterfield wins Regeneration Award

We are delighted to have won the Regeneration Award at this year’s Love Chesterfield awards for our work in providing affordable modern housing at Badger Croft in Loundsley Green.

Built on the former Brockwell Court site, the new development provides 21 new properties for local families – which is the largest council housing development in the borough since the 1980s.

Comprising of ten two-bedroom houses, six three-bedroom houses, four four-bedroom houses and a single three-bedroom bungalow, the project was hailed for its private-public collaboration and energy efficiency considerations.

Senior Contracts Manager Gary Holmes, Site Manager Graham Johnson and Business Development Manager Andy Lawson who all worked on the project collected the award at the ceremony which was hosted at the Winding Wheel Theatre in Chesterfield last night.

We are delighted that Badger Croft won the Regeneration Award. With Badger Croft, we have increased the supply of affordable homes available and transformed a former brownfield site, enabling 21 local families to move into their new homes. We have also worked hard to give back to the wider community by working closely with Holmebrook Conservation and Improvement Group to enhance landscaping works and boost biodiversity.
