We received two Highly Commended Awards at the inaugural Construction Awards of Excellence, in the Building Contractor of the Year (England, Turnover over £15m) and Young Employee of the Year categories.

The inaugural awards – which were funded by the National Federation of Builders (NFB) – were hosted virtually last night and covered the period of January 2019 to May 2020.

In the Building Contractor of the Year category the judges praised Henry Boot Construction for our ‘commitment to future talent, collaborative approach, use of technology and outstanding safety record’.

Bradley Longford, who received the Highly Commended Young Employee of the Year certificate, also received high praise from the judges, who said he “goes far beyond the call of duty both at work, outside and inside” and is “an inspiration to all young men and women in the industry and beyond”.
