The National Federation of Builders is delighted to announce that another NFB member has gained recognition from BSI for its BIM capability.

Henry Boot Construction has been awarded BIM Verification certification from BSI which demonstrates that the company meets the requirements of PAS 1192-2, the main standard for the implementation of Building Information Modelling.

BSI’s BIM Verification system was developed for contractors involved in using BIM to deliver new buildings or infrastructure projects. It demonstrates the company’s BIM capability through independent and impartial third party verification. Henry Boot Construction was awarded the certification based on a robust set of procedures and systems which have been developed to support the use of BIM on projects.

We recognise the benefits that BIM can bring to our clients through more efficient project delivery and the efficiency gains we can achieve as a company. Achieving BIM Verification from BSI is testament to the hard work of our BIM task group. This is another positive step towards ensuring Henry Boot remains at the forefront of the industry improvement agenda as a member of the National Federation of Builders.
