Henry Boot Construction welcomes five new Trainee Technicians

We are very pleased to welcome five new young people to the business namely; Joseph Briggs, Callum Baxter, Ben Tonkinson, Matthew Parkinson and Sam Hodgkinson.

The Trainee Development Programme represents a structured approach to the development of trainees. The Programme is designed to provide structured learning opportunities across the different elements that make up Henry Boot Construction. Through this, Trainees will form a solid overview of the business and create long-term, sustainable relationships that will enable effectiveness and innovation for the future.

Callam Baxter, one of the trainees is already a success story. Callum was offered a weeks’ work experience in February this year on our site in Barnsley. Callum made such a good impression that following completion of his college course in Construction and the Built Environment, he was offered one of the Trainee Technician Planner places.

I am pleased to come to Henry Boot Construction as I feel I have family history within the Company. My dad worked with Henry Boot through the 80’s as a joiner. Not only that, but the reputation of the Company has given me the confidence that I am going to be looked after and receive training of the highest quality.
