We have strengthened our partnership with Barnsley College through the sponsorship of a flag outside their Construction Centre, CUBE.

Our flag will fly alongside eleven other local and national construction companies. This partnership will allow the College to enhance their learning for Construction students through community initiatives such as work experience and site visits, providing students with first-hand experience and preparing them for the world of work within the construction industry.

This has been a tremendous achievement by the C-STEM department. To have such prestigious construction businesses show their support to Barnsley College will strengthen our ties with them as well as with the local community.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the C-STEM staff for their contribution and our external stakeholders. We will be welcoming representatives from the 12 construction companies who have agreed to sponsor the department in the near future and celebrate this momentous occasion.
