Double win at NFB Construction Awards of Excellence

We walked away as double winners at the National Federation of Builders (NFB) Construction Awards of Excellence in London last night.

Firstly, we won the England and Wales Building Contractor of the Year – Turnover Over £30m award before our Trainee Technician Stacey Clasper was announced as the winner of the Young Employee or Apprentice of the Year award.

Stacey Clasper then collected her trophy for winning the Young Employee or Apprentice of the Year category

After collecting her prize, Stacey said: "I am extremely grateful for winning this award as I did not expect it. There were a lot of great entries that also shouldn’t go unmentioned. I am thankful to everybody at Henry Boot that have given me the opportunity, making winning this award possible."

We were also shortlisted in two further categories, UK Medium House Builder of the Year (between 11 and 50 units per year) and Heritage & Conservation Building Project of the Year.

The ceremony was held at the Park Plaza Riverbank in Vauxhall following the NFB’s annual Construction Summit, which brings togethers key speakers on a range of topics.
