The Barnsley site team are continuing their work to make the town centre a better place to be, having assisted with a Community Clean-Up Day organised by Barnsley Council.
On 30 October, Assistant Project Manager Callum Ellis and Trainee Technician Sam Wood volunteered to help tidy up the Alhambra underpasses and surrounding areas alongside a group of other businesses and individuals. The rewarding work included litter picking, weeding, cutting back vegetation and repainting the benches, all to make the area a more inviting and enjoyable place for all to use.

As part of a team along with the council we undertook some landscaping and general cleaning around the grounds of the Alhambra shopping centre. It was a very rewarding job and great to meet some of the locals who use the facilities as well as the volunteers who dedicate their time to improve the town.
