Amy Stanbridge appointed to Director position

We have appointed Amy Stanbridge to the Board of Directors. Amy has been with working with Henry Boot PLC for eight years in a number of key roles, including Group Construction Solicitor, Head of Legal, and General Counsel and Company Secretary.

Amy joined Henry Boot PLC back in 2014 and now joins the Henry Boot Construction Board of Directors

She has been instrumental in evolving the operational arm of the wider business and will be a familiar face to many of Henry Boot Construction’s commercial and management personnel.

A graduate of both the University of Nottingham and University of Sheffield, Amy qualified as a solicitor in 2006. She is an experienced lawyer with an impressive track record working across the public sector and construction industry. Since joining Henry Boot PLC back in 2014, she has provided high-level expertise spanning non-contentious construction matters, contract and commercial law and practice, corporate governance and compliance matters.

Amy will become the fourth Director at Henry Boot Construction, joining Tony Shaw (Managing Director), Ryan O'Loughlin (Commercial Director) and Craig Finn (Director). Amy’s background in law and compliance will provide a more holistic and expert approach to non-operational issues within the leadership team.

Amy’s role as Director level provides her with the platform to continue driving the wider business forward and she is relishing focussing more of her time on people, social value, environmental actions and governance, as well as championing progressive sector initiatives that are close to her heart.

I am very happy to be joining the Henry Boot Construction Board and am looking forward to working alongside Tony, Ryan and Craig to get more involved within the business.

By being less operationally involved in Henry Boot Construction’s day-to-day work, I am aiming to bring an independent view and also be a cheerleader for the business. I will be making time to speak to people within the business about what is important to them and how the culture of the business can support them to be the best version of themselves at work.

As you can imagine, I’m particularly interested in understanding how we might be able to provide more support and progression for the women within Henry Boot Construction, and will be working closely with the Board to see how best to bring this about.

Amy Stanbridge, Director

I am delighted to welcome Amy to the Board of Directors. She is a popular figure and has made a huge impact during her time with Henry Boot PLC. We’re very excited to see Amy bring her expertise to the construction business and take our corporate culture to the next level.
