Award winning Rudding Park in Harrogate opened its new spa in May 2017. The Spa recaptures Harrogate’s historic spa heritage using natural spring water from the grounds of Rudding Park. The project included the construction of a multi-level extension to the Grade I listed hotel building, situated within the historic Repton landscape.

The Spa now has the most comprehensive and exclusive facilities in the country and has already won the Good Spa Guide 2017 award for Best New Spa in the UK, where the winner was determined by public vote.

The Spa is over three floors and features an exceptional quality 17m swimming pool, along with an extensive range of hydrotherapy and thermotherapy experiences, eleven treatment rooms with four mind and sense zones in which guests can relax following a treatment, 3 AA Rosette Horto restaurant and a lifestyle and gifting shop, aptly named ‘Retail Therapy’.

The Roof Top Spa and Garden – the first of its kind in the UK includes an indoor-outdoor hydrotherapy infinity pool, allowing guests to enjoy parkland views, a herbal steam room, panoramic sauna, garden cabin sauna, foot spas, experience showers and luxury steam room.

The project was complex and required close collaboration and coordination with key trades and partners. With a tight deadline, the project was delivered on time and to an exceptional standard.
