£3.9m visitor’s centre with education facilities and cafe for North Lincolnshire Council, on the South bank of the River Humber.
Project achieved the highest ever BREEAM rating for a bespoke project at that time. Strong focus on local suppliers, subcontractors and use of recycled materials.
Working in partnership with the client and supply chain allowed design input at an early stage to achieve added value.
"The visitor centre provides a very public example of how to plan, design, build and manage in harmony with the environment. It is an example of best practice for the region and the UK."
