£8.2m residential care home and daycare facilities for Rotherham MBC – 64 bed unit with strong emphasis on off-site construction methods including bedroom and bathroom pods.

Henry Boot worked together with RMBC to develop the design and offer cost effective solutions during the pre-construction phase. This environmentally sustainable scheme was delivered on time and to budget.

Strong existing relationships with RMBC were further developed by achieving high quality standards and the use of a dedicated aftercare manager.

The project won the CIOB award for Projects over £5m (CCSY, 2009).
